Start with a photo before dropping anything off
Tell us what you want engraved and send a clear photograph of the item, including the intended engraving area. Include the brand and model if known, the material or coating, approximate dimensions and quantity. A close-up and a wider view help us see the shape and available access.
We review each supplied item before confirming suitability. A familiar brand does not guarantee that every model, coating or surface will engrave the same way. Items with unknown materials, delicate finishes or sentimental value may need extra review; do not purchase a large batch for engraving before confirming the sample.
Prepare the wording and artwork
- Send the exact spelling, capitalization and date you want on the item.
- For a logo, supply the clearest original artwork available. Tell us if you have a vector file.
- Show where the engraving should go and its approximate size.
- For different names or serial numbers, explain how each item should be matched to its wording.
A proof confirms the agreed layout before production. Review it carefully: personalization is made for your item, and the material's color and finish can affect the final appearance. A screen preview is a layout reference; a physical sample may be needed to assess the actual mark.
Allow time for review and production
Most orders are ready 3 to 5 business days after you approve the final proof. Working to a date? Tell us the date first and we will say honestly whether it is comfortable or tight.
Tell us the date you need the finished item, not just the event date. Sample work, fixtures and larger quantities may need a project-specific schedule. We confirm that schedule with the quote; a request for rush service does not by itself reserve a deadline.
Arrange pickup and discuss item-specific care
Shop orders are Wilmington pickup by appointment. Shipping is available too, just tell us where it needs to go before you order and we will quote it with the job. For a supplied item, arrange its handoff with us before visiting.
Ask about care for the specific material and finish. For custom-order errors or defects, see our returns and order terms; report a concern promptly so we can review it.
