Laser engraving does not affect Yeti's five-year warranty on insulation and manufacturing defects. The engraving only removes the outer DuraCoat finish — the structural integrity and vacuum insulation remain completely unchanged. Yeti even offers their own custom engraving service, confirming the process is warranty-safe.
Darker colors like black, navy, charcoal, and sage create the highest contrast — the engraving reveals the silver stainless steel beneath, creating a striking look. Lighter colors like white, sandstone, and seafoam still engrave but produce a subtler contrast.
Yes! We engrave Yeti Tundra and Roadie hard coolers as well as Hopper soft coolers. Cooler engraving is popular for corporate branding, hunting camps, sports teams, and personal use. Large logos and text look especially impressive on a cooler lid or side panel.
