Glass, wood, leather, metal, acrylic, crystal, slate, stone and bamboo are what we work in most. Each goes on the laser built for it: metals on the fiber, glass and crystal on the UV, wood and leather on the CO2. The one thing we check before anything else is the coating, because a finish behaves very differently from the bare material underneath. Send a photo and we will tell you what it will do.

Most orders are ready 3 to 5 business days after you approve the final proof. The clock starts at proof approval rather than at checkout, so the sooner you say yes to the proof, the sooner it is done. If you are working to a date, tell us the date first and we will tell you honestly whether it is comfortable or tight.

Yes. Volume pricing starts on corporate and large-quantity orders and improves as the count goes up. Send the item, the quantity and your deadline and you will get a real quote back. Orders where every piece carries a different name are welcome too, and they are priced the same as a matching set.

Yes, and customer-supplied items are a large part of what we do: tumblers, bottles, flasks, plaques, tools and family pieces. Send a photo before you bring it in so we can check the material and the coating, which is what decides whether it marks cleanly. Drop-off is at our Wilmington shop by appointment.

Vector files give the cleanest result: .AI, .SVG, .EPS and .PDF. High-resolution PNG, JPG and TIFF work well for photo engraving. If all you have is a business card, a screenshot or a logo off a website, send it anyway. Redrawing artwork so it engraves properly is something we do most days.

Orders placed on this site are Wilmington pickup by appointment, which is the only option at checkout today. Shipping is available, but we arrange it with you directly rather than through the cart, and we have sent finished work well beyond Delaware. Tell us where it needs to go before you order and the delivery gets quoted with the job.

Yes, at any hour. The quote form does not keep business hours, and most requests are answered the next working day. Include the item, the quantity, your artwork and your deadline and you will get a real answer instead of a request for more information. Visits are the one thing that needs a time booked first, since the workshop is not staffed for walk-ins.
